Waukee Public Library Services
Starting June 1st the Waukee Public Library will start offering a curbside pickup service and will accept returns. The library will continue to be closed to the public at this time.
No-Contact Curbside Pickup Service – Available Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the library’s front entrance.
Limit 10 hold requests per library card. Hold requests for this service will be limited to books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines. Hold requests for items can be placed online, through the Library’s website at www.waukeepubliclibrary.org. Patrons can also call the Waukee Public Library for personal assistance in reserving items at (515) 978-7944.
Patrons must schedule pickup times in advance and will be contacted to schedule a pickup of items that have been put on hold. Hold items will be checked out to the patron’s card and placed in a bag.
Patrons will pull up to the designated parking space at the library entrance and open trunk. Library staff will ask for name or will identify car make and model from reservation. Please help us by putting a piece of paper with your last name on your windshield.
Please return your items to the bins at the front entrance. Our parking lot is currently under construction and the book drop remains closed at this time. Returned items will be checked in after at least 72 hours of quarantine.
