Explore the process and artistry of drawing plants in scientific style with illustrator Kelsey Wilson, June's exhibiting artist in the library's Art Gallery. Select your subject from a variety of plant specimens sourced from the Library's butterfly garden—or you are welcome to bring a plant or clipping from home if you have something specific you'd like to draw. Kelsey will teach you how to accurately record anatomy details in graphite.

All drawing supplies will be provided. Participants will be given a sketchbook to use in class and take home, so you can continue to practice the techniques you learn. Registration Required.
