Butterfly & Pollinator Gardening

Butterflies are not only beautiful, they are also a huge benefit to our environment! In this presentation a Blank Park Zoo wildlife conservationist will discuss who our native pollinators are in Iowa and how to create a pollinator friendly garden—including types of native plants that can be used. Attendees will also get to make-and-take seed balls to get their pollinator-friendly garden started. Older Kids and Teens are welcome at this event.

This is an in-person class that will take place at the Library. Registration required to ensure there's enough seed ball supplies for everyone.
