What is NaNoWriMo? National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, fast-paced approach to creative writing for anyone who has ever thought about writing a novel. Starting November 1, participants work towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM sharp on November 30.

And the Waukee Public Library is here to help with drop-in writing session throughout the month! Bring your preferred writing tools and work on your novel surrounded by other local writers as well as all of the library’s resources. Barring any commmunity health concerns, refreshments for fueling up will be provided. Attendees will also receive an exclusive NaNoWriMo eraser and an adorable typewriter sticker!
