Expand your repertoire of side dishes with Chef Katie Porter of Wallace House in this Fall Sides cooking class. Gather all the ingredients and tools in your own kitchen, and then cook alongside Katie (in your own home) as she demonstrates each step on-screen in this live Zoom class.

Recipes include:

  • Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower, Onions, and Apples
  • Chickpea Carrot Salad with Smoky Paprika Vinaigrette
  • and Apple Cranberry Chutney.

1 Registration Spot = 1 Screen, so you are encouraged to gather friends and family to take the class together. The grocery list of ingredients you will need and any additional information will be emailed to you by November 5th, so you have plenty of time to prepare for class.

Katie Porter is the chef at the Wallace House in Des Moines.  Her weekly Farm to Table Thursday dinners feature seasonal menus that focus on locally grown ingredients from the Wallace Centers of Iowa farm in Orient and other Iowa family farms and small businesses.
