This presentation, by Cherie Haury-Artz from the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist, will look at the indigenous cultures of Iowa with a special focus on the Ioway and Meskwaki and their contributions to our understanding of Iowa's past.

Though the presentation itself is pre-recorded, Cherie will be available for a live Q&A session via the video's comments section on: Saturday, November 21 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. Any questions/thoughts posted before then or during the Q&A timeframe will be responded to.

Registration is required. Those who are registered to "attend" will be emailed a private link to the presentation video—so double check that you have entered a valid email address! The video will only be available to view from Saturday, November 13 at 1:00pm until Friday, November 26 at 1:00pm.
