“Glimpses of Life” – Jerald Steele
May 1-30, 2024

About the exhibit:

Watercolor artist Jerald Steele has been painting for most of his life. After graduating from UNI, he taught for six years in Iowa schools, then decided on a career change and painted in his spare time. His watercolors capture a moment in time of scenes of everyday life. Most works are of a specific place or landscape, mostly in Iowa and the Midwest.

The Art Gallery is open Monday-Friday 9 AM-3 PM, Saturday 9 AM-12 PM, and Sunday 12-4 PM. The Library and its Art Gallery is closed on Sundays from September-May. If the meeting room is in use, the gallery will be closed to the public. Want to visit at a certain time? Call the Library at (515) 978-7944 to check availability.
