Snacks & Facts: Zero Waste Beeswax Wrap
Snacks & Facts
No time to attend an evening or weekend program? Try our Snacks & Facts series! We’ll have a speaker every first Friday of the month at the Waukee Community Center (675 Walnut St). Come ready to learn and we’ll provide the snacks! Stick around afterward for Waukee Parks & Recreation’s bingo at 1 PM. This program is brought to you in partnership with Waukee Parks & Recreation.
November 3rd at 11am – Zero Waste Beeswax Wrap Workshop
Come learn from Carissa Thoma with Down to Earth Living about zero waste living and make your own reusable beeswax wrap—a handy and reusable replacement for cling wrap and Ziploc bags. Carissa will share zero waste tips to help your life “bee” a little greener! Supplies are limited and will be first come, first served. But everyone will learn how to make beeswax wraps so you can make them at home after taking this class, should supplies run out.
