"Simple Pleasures and Quiet Places" - Robin Fisher

Exhibition Description:

As long as Robin can remember she has been drawing. She wrote and illustrated her first book at age seven about Pigs, but unfortunately it was not a bestseller. Robin attributes her interest in art to her mom and sister who provided tips and tricks.

Her preferred medium is graphite, with a dab of Pastel, Charcoal, and Pen, then add a little Acrylic, Oil, and Watercolor. Robin says, "I draw what I know best—rural life, kids being kids, animals being animals—depicting unique perspectives that hopefully result in smiles or fond memories."

Robin is located in small town Iowa, as is reflected in her art.  She received her Art Education Degree from Iowa Wesleyan College with a Masters from Life Itself.
