Pick up an activity pack that includes book suggestions and an early learning activity to complete at home! New activity packs available on Saturday mornings each week on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

For kids 2-5 years old with adult supervision.

Visit the Waukee Public Library booth at the Waukee Arts Festival in Centennial Park! We’ll have a free craft for all ages, and the Book Bike will be on the scene handing out library merch.

During this hour, enjoy designated quiet browsing and inclusive programming for individuals with special sensory needs and their families or caregivers. There will be a dimmed calm room, natural lighting, computer availability, and access to library materials. There will be sensory stations and therapy animals available, too.
