Melissa Marwedel joined the Waukee Library Board of Trustees in July 2022. She graduated from UNI with a BA in elementary education and an MA in Education - School Library Studies. Anna Eichhorn joined the Waukee Library Board of Trustees in July 2022. She is a passionate people leader and change driver with over 20+ years of experience, primarily in the Insurance Industry. She leads Benefits Implementation at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, working cross functionally within the organization. Anna previously delivered audit and risk-based solutions at a big four public accounting firm. She has a BA in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa. Anna is involved in several community organizations, focusing her efforts on positively impacting the social determinants of health. Anna has resided in Waukee with her husband Jon for over 10 years. She is the Managing Director at BrokerTech Ventures and also serves on the Waukee Area Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors. Lela Scott joined the Waukee Library Board of Trustees in July 2024. Lela Scott, originally from Iowa, moved to Waukee with her family in 2020. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Creighton University. As a nonprofit leader, Lela is dedicated to serving children and fostering future leaders. She values family time and maintains a tradition of Sunday dinners with her loved ones. In her free time, Lela enjoys being outdoors and spending quality time with family and friends.
